Group Bike Rides
Whether you’re new to the area or a visitor, feel free to join one of the many group rides offered in our area. Some of these rides change over to off-road a little later in the year.

Monday
In Cable — 5:30 p.m. at the Ideal Market/Rivers Eatery/Redberry Books in downtown Cable. Chow afterwards at the Rivers.
In Ashland - 5:30 p.m. leaving from Hugo's Pizza parking lot in Ashland. No drop 20-mile road ride. Starting in June there will be a family paced 10-mile corridor ride. Delicious Hugo's Pizza afterward.

Tuesday
In Hayward — New Moon Road Ride meet at 5:30 p.m. at New Moon. 25-35 mile average. Usually two groups form. Avg. 17 mph.

In Washburn — 5:30 p.m. from the well at Thompson's West End Park. Normally 40 miles plus.

In Ashland — Aaron Swanson will host a singletrack ride at about 5:30 p.m. from his house.

Chequama Mamas Ride — This one moves around from week to week. 5:30 p.m. Sometimes food afterwards.

Saturday
In Hayward — Early morning ride at Cresthill Resort begins between 7:00 a.m. And 8:00 a.m. Depending on the time of year. Two-hour, no-drop ride about 37 miles through fall. Usually out and back around the northeast shore of Moose Lake. Smooth, rolling, lightly-traveled roads. Everyone rides together, unless some plan a shorter route. Occasionally folks continue on for additional riding after returning to Cresthill. Rides are rain or shine – 10 to 20 riders of mixed gender the norm. Swimming, showers and changing rooms available pre/post ride.

In Mason — 9:00 a.m. launch from the Cookie Jar cafe. 25-75 miles. No drop groups form at the start. Gather early for coffee etc. at Cookie Jar. After refuel at Cookie Jar or at White River Saloon

In Washburn — 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. depending on time of year. Saturday Morning Java Ride from Dennis Liphart's house at 715 Hillside Drive. No drops, 2-3 hours medium pace, must be able to enjoy good pastries and coffee
